Chris Boeckers
Chris, a former FBI Supervisory Special Agent and Minnesota sheriff's deputy, led several of the area's most high-profile cases, including resolution of the quarter century-old Jacob Wetterling investigation, Dru Sjodin's investigation, and Minnesota's first cold case murder arrest and conviction utilizing forensic genetic genealogy techniques.
Chris has provided well-received presentations at several national and local training conferences on missing person/abductions and cold case investigations. He has been a featured investigator on media productions documenting investigations he impacted.
Throughout his career, Chris has been devoted to respectfully and professionally serve all those impacted by tragedy and crime. The Split Rock brand and logo honor his origins in Northern Minnesota and the work ethic, character and determination of those who influenced him. Chris is a nationally recognized and awarded expert in missing and murdered persons investigations. He was an original member of the FBI's Child Abduction Rapid Deployment Team and later served as coordinator and consultant for the Department of Justice's Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons national initiatives and state research efforts. He has received awards for excellence from the FBI Director, FBI Agents Association, US Attorney-Minnesota, and the Minneapolis Police Department.
